The CD has the text of the $150 kit on it. And the latest version of all the utilities. What? You actually thumb through manuals? No you don't, you go to the index and look it up like everybody else. You find what you want and use it. All you need is on the CD. Just change your paradigm. Get with it, this is the real thing. Throw those thick manuals away, they're just stroking your ego, sitting on a shelf letting everyone see that you use NT. BIG DEAL! Get some work done with this.

While is isn't the "RESOURCE KIT," it is the "Resource Kit." The utilities are up-to-date and the kit contains the most up-to-date information about NT. Very valuable if you want to get a good deep knowledge of Windows NT 4.

I am using it for more in-depth study on my MCSE tests and love the ability to search through all the guides (KIT, Kit 1 and Kit 2) for specific information. Better than the original kit, if you like to search on-line. And, yes, you can print the information also!!!

I did not want to chunk $150 for the whole kit and caboodle...so I bought this. It is updated, contains all the original utils (most updated) plus some more. Better yet the text of the first kit is on the CD!

If you are thinking of buying the original resource kit, don't. Save a hundred bucks and just buy supplement two, as the CD's contain the FULL TEXT of the real server resource kit, as well as supplemt one. It also contains ALL the tools as the original.

There is no book included in this. The CD is essentially the same as the Supp 1 CD with only a few utilities changed near as I can tell. Get it if one of the utilities you have problems with is fixed by it, otherwise wait for the next kit..

Don't waste your money on this. If anything put the money towards a subscription to technet and wait for this CD to be included in technet's updates

No book, some new utilities, a few updated utilities, updated online help documents, and a TechNet CD. Unless there are some stunning new utilities in Supplement Two that I haven't discovered, I'd recommend that you save your money.

This is the biggest waste of money that I have ever send. They don't even send you a book. All you get is a few updated utilities, and a stinking technet cd. Who cares about the technet CD. I'll be sending mine back

Apparently there are a bunch of people who don't understand how the Resource Kit works. You buy the resource kit and then, as the supplements are released, you buy those. Think about it....they call it a supplement for a reason!!!! It doesn't contain the things from the previous supplement nor the original kit. It might if there has been a update for it. I suggest buying the resource kit along with the supplements. Nothing is for free folks and this kit has saved me a lot of time...which is money. Well worth it!
