About the Author

Gary Shelly Gary Shelly, together with co-author Tom Cashman, wrote and published his first computer education textbook in 1969. Since then, more than twenty million copies of Shelly Cashman textbooks have been sold. In recent years, Gary, Tom, and a talented group of contributing authors have produced leading textbooks on computer programming, computer concepts, and application software. Thomas J. Cashman Thomas J. Cashman received his education at California State University, Los Angeles. In 1960, he established one of the first business data processing programs in the United States at Long Beach City College in California, where he taught and served as department head from 1960 to 1966. I have used Thomson Course Technology books (specifically the Shelly Cashman Series) both for college courses and for self-study. They are simply outstanding! This book, Windows XP: Complete Concepts and Techniques is no exception. It is very well written, organized, and lavishly illustrated. If you are truly interested in learning XP, you can not go wrong using this book's project-oriented, step-by-step approach to guide you.

Book was listed as better condition than it was. The whole back cover was torn off! It was shipped very quickly but you really should list it as it really is.
