This mouse is by far one of the best I've used for my laptop. The most impressive part about it all, is the battery life. I have owned this for 3 months and use it every day for hours a day, and it is still going strong. It is very responsive and I even use it for online gaming sometimes, with good response. The biggest drawback is, it does not have an auto shut off feature. If you power off your machine and forget to store the USB stick back on the mouse, the mouse stays on. I have forgetten to put the USB stick back on and the mouse has stayed on overnight. Luckily though, the battery life is awesome. All in all a good purchase if you don't care about the auto shut off feature.

I got this mouse (in pink) to go with my new Acer Aspire . I really like it. It worked right out of the box as soon as I plugged the USB dongle in. All the buttons work and I haven't had any problems with it skipping or anything like that. The thing I like most is that when you are not using it you snap the USB dongle into the bottom of the mouse. It not only keeps the mouse and the receiver together, but it also turns off the mouse so your don't waste battery.

I do have a couple of complaints. The receiver is huge. Next to my netbook it looks gigantic. I have seen other mice with tiny little receivers, so I know the size of this one isn't necessary. I feel like this mouse was designed to be portable, so I wish Microsoft would have designed the receiver differently. The other thing that bothers me is that it didn't come with a pouch. For the price it seems like a small draw string pouch should have been included to protect it while you are carrying it around.

Overall I think it is a good product. It is attractive and comfortable with a clever design.

I got this a few days ago.It was a cinch to run with my new Vista laptop.
I like the size of it because I have small hands and larger mice sort of cramp up my hand after a while.
I also like the way the USB connector tucks into the mouse's underside.
So...it looks cool;fits my hand;and is easy to install.
