The padded outside zipper laptop compartment with 2 power ports allows for in-case use and holds laptops with up to 15" screens. Inside the main zipper compartment, a ditigal accessory panel holds all your accessories with a mesh pocket for batteries and cords. An inside document pocket holds files and loose papers, and the 1.5" D-rng is removable for additional space. A letter size writing pad is included. I'm a subscriber to the organization advice from Flylady.net, and one of the concepts I've adopted from them is the "Office in a Bag." Basically any zippered binder bag with pockets will do in making an Office in a Bag, so instead of buying the one offered on Flylady.net I bought this one here.

It's well worth the money. The bag is made of a durable nylon, the zippers feel very tight and sturdy, and the construction of the entire binder is awesome. It has the quality of a good laptop bag combined with the lightweight convenience of a standard binder. It's very capable of keeping your laptop and papers secure and clean without costing you a mint.

I love the lighter gray lining inside--it makes it easier to look for things like pens or cables which are usually black. The pockets are very handy for storing things, and there is a large pocket opposite the lined paper that's good for storing whole file folders.

The one downside is the two "power ports for in-case use." The ports are really tiny, basically the diameter of a pencil eraser. My iBook adapter plug did not have a chance of squeezing through that! One would have to plug up those ports if traveling in rainy conditions. Aside from that, the laptop compartment is on the front so you don't have to worry about compression damage like other laptop bags which sandwich it in the center or place it in the back of the bag. The padding is sufficient for most bumps and nudges, and feels heavy-duty for daily use.

Pros: Lightweight-but-very-sturdy, excellent handles and strap, best zippered binder bag I've seen!

Cons: Ports are too small for standard adapter plugs to fit through, lined paper pad that it comes with is not secured down during shipping so it is all wrinkly when it gets to you.

Final say: I could see this product lasting the rest of my college years and being used on a daily basis. It's very attractive and fits my 14" iBook G4 very nicely.

I had been in the market for laptop bag for a while and came across this bag. I am business consultant who travels 80% of the time and at the same time, I am working on my PhD so I need a durable bag that works as a work bag and personal bag. This bag has been a life saver as I am able to carry my laptop (15.4"); a 1.5" 3 ring binder; Blackberry and laptop accessories with no problem. The price of the bag was better than expected and I have been impressed by its durability. Definitely worth the investment....
