Microsoft Zune HD Stylish Faux Leather Case (BLACK)

There are several things not previously mentioned about this case that probably should be, The fit is excellent as stated before, but the pictures for this product don't do it justice. Rather than the plastic look the photos would suggest it is actually very realistic imitation leather.

I had a 1st Gen Zune and paid 29.99 for a DLO that was less sturdy than this product.

Also for those like me who are not fond of getting a product without scouring the net for multiple point of views, here is some info. This Case is a Kroos Case, It is high quality/ The model is called the Melrose style and there are many places on the net where it costs nearly double.

Also when closed no access to charge cause of snap strap, but when not snapped you have full access to charging cord, the picture makes that hard to tell

If you want the sturdiest case with a good price and better yet very little weight / bulk...this could be your best choice

I must admit I was very doubtful of this case and whether it'd end up being of use to me. However I wanted to save a few bucks instead of going with more expensive cases and gave this a try.

What I Like:

- Provides Clip-on to ensure security and portability
- The button clasp goes to the back and not the front so it doesn't damage the screen
- It looks very stylish, not cheap. (See pictures I uploaded)
- It's easy to access all the Zune HD controls.
- There is a small slit in the cover in the inside flap where you can store a small, important piece of paper. This is all I recommend you using it for as using a credit card for example could quite possibly damage the screen.

And speaking of damaging the screen...

What I Don't Like:

- The case does not provide full protection of the Zune HD minus the front flap. If it's not closed, your Zune HD will still be vulnerable to scratches and dents.
- The material *feels* soft but also cheap. If it were to get some serious scratching I fear that would be the end for this case.

For [...] (1/14/2010) this is a great case. I'm certain it'd protect my beloved Zune HD against any scratches so long as the flap is closed. The actual case seems to be made of cardboard and although the little padding can provide some protection, it won't do much if you drop it. If you want a sturdier case (and peace of mind) I suggest going with something more expensive (what case can really protect against that though?). But if you're just looking for something simple that covers the Zune HD and offers some protection then this is quite the deal. So far, I'm very pleased with this case and would highly recommend it for the price.

This is a great case. Not at all cheap looking. Has a silver embellishment on the snap cover that is classy. It was easy as pie to slip my Zune HD into it and go. You can keep it clipped and just have your earphones plugged in while you are on the go. The clip is nice and tight and stays on. The snap on it works great. The only thing that anyone might complain about is that when you charge your Zune HD, you have to unsnap the case to plug the cable in. I have not found that to be a big deal for me. I am really happy with my purchase and for the price you can't beat what you get!

My zune has been splashed, dropped, and thrown (ignorant kid) and it has come out of it great and with no damage. Definitely a great buy, though the clip gives out eventually.

It protects the Zune HD as advised. Only issue is that I always have to take the Zune HD out before I can use it properly. I can't operate the pmp in the case.

Purchased this for my daughter. She wanted a case with a clip for her Zune. I have heard no complaints. The case went on easily and it fits well. The Faux Leather is a little thin but it does not add much bulk to the Zune.

I may purchase another for our other Zune.

The case fits the Zune like glove. I am pleased with the product and eBigValue ships on time.

Happy with the case. it does not look cheap. It does fit well. I have dropped my Zune many times, and the case was successful to save the damage. I wish the clip was removable, because it is hard to put the Zune in your jean's pocket.Also instead of the snap button, magnetic button will be better. Overall happy with the product.

Holds the Zune HD, however, when you plug the headphones or cable in the bottom, the Zune will come out the top.

Bought this case for my son on his birthday. It's a nice looking case, well made and does the job it was designed to do. I mentioned the criticism I had read about having to take it out of the case to charge. He hadn't been aware that this was an issue, so, no worries! Oh, and the price was unbeatable.
