Ideal for graphic designers and imaging professionals, the MicrotekArtixScan 1100 scanner offers quality scanned images at a fraction of thecost of a drum scanner. It offers stunning 42-bit color and 1,000 x 2,000 dpioptical resolution for high performance and rich detail.

The ArtixScan 1100 features a built-in tray for scanning transparencies andincludes templates for scanning 35mm, 2-1/4, and 4-by-5-inch film. A glassplate allows scanning of 8-by-10-inch or odd-size transparencies. UsingEmulsion Direct Imaging Technology, the ArtixScan 1100 providesdistortion-free film scanning, since there is no glass between the scannerlens and the film emulsion. Easy setup and connectivity with both Windowsand Macintosh systems make it a good choice for sharing in a cross-platformenvironment. The ArtixScan 1100 includes ScanWizard Pro scanning software,SCSI card and cable, and SnapTrans templates.
