We have used these for about 15 years and love them but this is the first time we have had a one gallon model. We use them primarily in the kitchen as we don't ever let garbage accumulate where it would smell and prefer a small out of sight container. We reuse the plastic bags from stores and never buy trash bags. The handles fit perfectly over the hooks on the larger size and for the one gallon we simply tie a knot in each handle of the plastic bag and they fit perfect for this one gallon container.

The product is excellent but the assembly is very very complicated - takes aprox. 30 minutes to install and no instructions included in box. Whoever invented the top which includes bags, was a genious - has taken over 20 years to come.... again a great product but assembly should be more explicit.

I purchased the 1-gallon Rack Sack for mounting on the inside of the cabinet door under the kitchen sink. Although there were no mounting instructions, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to mount it. It is a perfect fit for the small amount of space under the sink. A larger (3 - 5 gallon rack) is available if you have the space.
