I just purchased this chair to replace a large executive style chair that had disintegrated over the course of the last year because I like to lean back and it couldn't handle the strain...I'm big but not that big, 6'2" 210 pounds. So I was looking for a sturdy chair that looked good in my office. I was hesitant to buy a chair I hadn't sat in but for some reason I pulled the trigger on this chair, probably because I'm Amazon Prime so free shipping and it was around $200. What I got was a sturdy chair that looks fairly good in my office (except for one part...more on that later) and that is it. It is not particularly comfortable on my butt as the webbing is very stiff. The sides pinch in on my hips a bit where the webbing meets the metal frame and the front part of the seat under the needs is a bit hard as well. Some have commented that its nowhere near the quality/comfort of an Aeron chair...to which I say, of course note, its 1/3 the price. I would love to find a new Aeron for $220 but its not going to happen.Pros: Very sturdy, simple construction, nice modern look, assembly was not too hard but wasn't a snap either. Heavy. Cons: Not very comfortable for long sits, unless maybe you have a lot of padding back there. Wheels are oddly out of style with chair. They were chocolate brown with a cream colored wheel. Totally out of sync with the rest of the chair. They should have been black 100% or black with grey / gunmetal or chrome. The arm rests are at fixed height which I had overlooked and is a bit annoying because its not right for my keyboard tray. So heavy that it doesn't roll real well. Best advice, if you are going to sit in something for hours on end, best to try before you buy.

Well Built, But Very Uncomfortable For Regular Size Folks,

The product quality is second to none. I have actually never seen such a heavy duty and well made office chair. I suspect this chair lasts a lifetime. However, the chair is HUGE! I am 5'10" and about 165lbs and the "lumber support" hits my mid back due to the size of chair. Hence, I end up slumped into the chair, and, unfortunately, there is no apparent way to adjust the chair back. I should have suspected something was up when I noticed that several positive reviews came for folks who are big and tall. I am very disappointed to say the least. I have to use a back support attachment, which defeats the entire purpose of getting a vented chair (i.e., increase air circulation). In short, this chair is "buyer beware" for anyone under at least 6 foot.

This chair is SOLID. It's ironic that it is so heavy and the seat and back are just mesh, but I really love this chair. I have had a couple problem with it though. First, the wheels don't roll well on my vinyl fake hardwood floor. Since the wheels are slick and the floor is too, the wheels will sometimes slide across the floor rather than roll. So I've ordered a set of replacement wheels from amazon that should fix that issue. My other problem was that the armrest pad on the left side broke off within a few weeks of when I bought it. It was strange because I went to look at it and the screws that held the pad on the rest were stripped a little bit. I suspect that someone bought this chair, broke it, tried to put it back together, and then returned it. Customer service sent me a new armrest assembly for free so I have no beef with the company.

This chair is super easy to assemble and when finished looks good. However in needs to feel great to sit in for long periods to be a 'successful chair'. I have a bad back that is constantly making demands on my life. The back of this chair isn't the best but the overall comfort is acceptable. A plus is that this thing is solid. It weighs a ton, about 70lbs actually. I have wood floors and it glides smooth as a cloud in absolute silence..

Very Sturdy, Comfortable Chair,

I have a mesh chair at work that I love and was hoping this would be as supportive and comfortable as that one, and I wasn't disappointed. It rolls, turns and reclines smoothly and has held up very well as an everyday computer chair. The only thing I could change if I could is the metal bar at the front of the seat. After sitting for a length of time it's not painful but does start to get somewhat uncomfortable on your legs.

Nowhere near Aeron Quality,
By Alex (New York) - See all my reviews Some problems to consider before buying: 1. All metal construction is very heavy. Due to the extra weight, assembly requires 2 people and working on a wooden floor causes boards to creak. 2. Screws and washers on the chair have fallen off the chair in normal use. Due to the uniform gun metal gray color, finding the screw holes can be difficult. 3. Mesh fabric is very good. The back and seat fabric are quite comfortable. 4. Another negative about all metal construction is the front edge of the seat (the part under your knees) is metal and digs into flesh and feels cold. The front bar is rolled (so no scratching) but it is not contoured flat but rounded. 5. The fit and finish of the chair is not furniture grade, but hardware industrial grade. Arm rests wobble if screws are loose.

Very heavy metallic frame, gets too cold and annoys you because your legs are always in contact with the seat metallic border. Should had a plastic or cloth cover to prevent this. Other than that it is a comfortable chair to seat on.

This chair weighs 66 pounds! The seat is very hard and is awkwardly leaning forward, so one ends up sliding down. The back is poorly designed so that an average height person would constantly hit her head on the metal frame behind. It's next to impossible to disassemble for shipping it back. The arm rests are not adjustable in height.
