This RPG is the only faithful to the work of Tolkien, even though it adds tons of info invented by the authors in Iron Crown Enterprises. Still, that information is carefully adapted to the "real" story in a way that it doesn't hurt the readers' feelings about JRRT's works. This RPG mostly concerns with the Third and Fourth Ages of Middle-Earth, although its many additional sourcebooks provide a strong capability of role-playing any Age described by Tolkien. Not only this book, but all others in the Middle-Earth Series are superbly written, with many maps and detailed info about all aspects of life in Middle-Earth and how to role-play in it.
