...only perhaps to loose it with irrisitable robot moves to the breakbeats. This is an excellent album for bellydancers who've spent oh too many nights dancing to lame egyptian pop songs and want something traditional yet swiftly modern. Imagine having a bellydance CD that you could play in the car without your civilian friend thinking your retarded. This is a seriously cool CD. I love it. There are a few tracks where the recording is live and they just won't cut it for performances. It may get the Arabic restaurant owner's panties in a knot if you perform to it, but it's worth it. For the record, I think Jimmy Hafla is an ingenius name.

The lead instrument is probably Melissa's Hurdy Gurdy on most tracks, with a collection of other rather strange instruments playing a collection of somewhat middle-eastern sounding tunes, quite spritely and bright. An unusual CD to add to your collection with music which will probably brighten your day.
