If you love short horror fiction that can scare the hell out of you, than you must get your hands on this book. We often forget about the middle of this country when we think creepy and dark stories but we have done so at our own risk. As a writer and a reader (I do not have any stories in this anthology) I appreciate the complexity of the stories and the characters and what these writers have been able to accomplish. DO NOT ignore this book just because it may be from a small publisher that you havent heard of yet. Trust me, if they keep producing work like this, you will be hearing of them very soon.

I had high hopes for this book. I love horror, and am a fan of short stories. Many of these stories were definitely short, but they were also lacking in horror. I recall some enjoyment from a story or three, but to go back in search of which stories for inclusion here would mean I would have to open this book again, and I don't really need a nap right now. I'd definitely try and find this book in a library, rather than wasting 10 bucks.
