A friend of mine gave me a copy of the album "The fire next time". wow. Was it good? hell, I am on amazon.com to tell you how good it is. A minimalist's approach to some of the purest hip hop tracks I have listened. And, if you search "my hiphop cd collection Nelson" on youtube, I have a large collection. This is one of the smoothest hiphop I have listened to. I wanted to add this album to my collection (I collect the actual cd) but I can not find it. The production is really great and the emcee spits some mature/thought provoking rhymes with a great flow as well. I would say a cross between Living Legends positive rhymes with thought provoking poems/lyrics of Sage Francis with the sense of humor/wordplay/punchlines of a Del. Can you believe this? An album I can not find or never heard of before is one of my top hip hop albums that i like listening to. Production is 9.5/10 and Lyrics are 9/10. Overall, a classic album you will never hear about. Find this album online and download it. if you can find it online at a store, buy it cause these artists deserve the $. As far as the album here on this page, I am ordering it right now to check it out.
