I am just entering middle school this year, and my mom had gotten, Middle School the Real Deal, for me.I started reading it and had already been helped! It was great!!! When I finished the book, two days later, I was already ready to start the new year of school again. This book is great for kids who feel like they need help with what to do in middle school. Thank you for writing this awesome book! I love it!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

I read this book while I was still in the 5th grade and wow!!! This book is great! It's been a while since I read it, but I was looking over it the other day and it really is a good book to read BEFORE middle school. A lot of it focuses on preparation and "the first day", so I wouldn't suggest reading it in the middle of the year... but do read it! It's a well written book.

Ok... your leaving elementary school about to enter middle school/jr. high and your dead afraid. What do you do? Well, you read Middle School: the real deal. I bought the book during the summer before 6th grade while at Barnes & Noble during a family vacation and it was actually pretty helpful. You can't really expect to read this and have no troubles though, because you have to learn somethings yourself, but for the most part it was good. I just bought the one for high school........

My sixth-grade daughter borrowed this book from her teacher's classroom library, and she loved it so much that I bought her a copy! Although I think it has valuable tips that boys could use, I think that girls will be more drawn to the format. This is a must-have for anxious kids who are preparing to start or have just started middle school. It is packed with practical advice and fun quizzes that make it engaging. I highly recommend it!
