Book Description

Let's face it: we all miss the olden days. And for the first time, get ready to revisit them- in book form.

(The launch of a unique new series featuring Alexa Black, the star of the popular Sorry I'm Not Sorry books, told through her middle school diaries and AOL Instant Messenger conversations and filled with early-2000s nostalgia)

Alexa Black's life sucks. She's the only girl in her grade without a cell phone, she's about to go on summer vacation with her annoying family, and to top it all off, she has to start the seventh grade next month without her BFF Michelle because they can't stop fighting over whether Simple Plan is better than My Chemical Romance. But soon she wonders: what if she can turn it all around, find a new BFF, and come back to school in August as the most popular girl around?

Go back to a time before the deadlines, the stress, the grown-up problems. Take yourself back to an era when Britney & Justin were on top, when gel pens were even more sparkly than lip gloss, and when AIM ruled all of our lives. This is middle school- this is the story behind the legend of Alexa Black.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too short for the price November 12, 2013

It was a good story but way too short. I like most of Soririty Problem books but this one should have been priced at like $1.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun Read October 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For the most part this book is very enjoyable. Made me laugh. Some parts dragged on a little too long and there were parts that just weren't realistic. I expected more out of this book. I wanted to read more about middle school life instead of all that AIM stuff that went on and on and on. Would like to see a sequel about Alexas school year.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good but passable September 7, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I love sorority problems books. However I haven't been reading since Alexa black became just a rerun of the same jokes in the small book of her Christmas break from school. Bought this out of nostalgia. It was funny and had some good moments but as a fan, this one you can pass on.

Hopefully the next SINS book gets me back into reading SPs material

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Love August 7, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This book brings me right back to my days in middle school. Middle School Confidential makes me cherish the days of AIM, Nano Babies, and Gel Pens.
