Item looked new, in blister pack and unopened. Out of the box, one radio lost memory of the last settings, including channel when turned off. I could live with that, but after about 3 hours of use, the other good one would not receive even the other was next to it. It still transmitted though. Ended up return to Amazon. It was a good price. I would keep them if the receiving problem did not appear.

It's loud and clear. And the battery is more than enough for a day's activities. I got no complaint so far.
