Life saver
In November 2008 I was involved in a motorcycle accident that left my right foot crushed. My head was protected and as a result I am alive to tell this story. I was wearing the Vox flip up helmet. When I hit the pavement on a busy NYC, street my head was insulated from a massive impact and i was able to hop away with my life and a smile. All helmets should work this...

Cheap and Tight
Two words: TOO TIGHT. A Large is a medium. I kid you not. I like the internal sun shade...convenient (especially since the helmet is so tight, you couldn't get the legs of any decent sun glasses in between without cutting off circulation to your scalp...leading to NGPB (non-genetic premature baldness). Buyer beware.

I ordered this helmet in a large, as this is the size I have purchased my other helmets in, but when I received it I was unable to close the face shield. The construction looked to be great and Sterling Tek were very easy to work with on the return but just be cautious. They are working with DOT to get the XL & XXL size helmets certified but they may take awhile.May be a great helmet for a woman or child but sizing does not seem to adhere to industry standards.

Tried this helmet as my first modular helmet and was quite unsatisfied. It is called a snowmobile/motorcycle helmet but yet only has a single pane shield so it frosts right up in snow, and it does not even seal to the helmet, making it cold and unbelievably loud. It is comfortable to sit at home in a chair with but that is all I would recommend.

Great helmet,but sizing is wrong.Order 1 size larger than you wear.Unfortunately mine is too tight for me to wear comfortably.
