Midnight Blue CD back in print, November 17, 2003
For those of you who don't want to spend $150 or more to get the Midnight Blue album, I just found out through her website at http://www.louisetucker.co.uk/ that she is re-releasing Midnight Blue and a subsequent album, After The Storm, on CD for the equivalent of $32 each.

Timeless! This CD will be beloved by many for years to come!, February 3, 1999
By A Customer
I've been listening to Midnight Blue on tape since I was 8 years old. Anytime we'd go on vacation, it would be the first tape to be played. We played it so much, the tape actually broke! I've been trying in vain for at least 2 years to find a copy to replace the old one. Needless to say I was overjoyed to finally find it! It doesn't matter how old you are, or what kind of music you listen to - you will love this CD! Louise Tucker's voice is beautiful, and sometimes even haunting. Midnight Blue and Graveyard Angel are possibly two of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. It's such a shame that she never made anymore recordings. I suggest you pick up two copies - you're liable to wear this CD out!

Loved Midnight Blue ever since I first heard it around 1986, June 24, 1999
By A Customer
I first heard enchanting melody of Louise Tucker's Midnight Blue in the mid-eighties while I was in Ohio, and I fell in love with it instantly. However, I could not find it in the stores. I heard it the next time, some months later, when I was in a store and asked the clerk what station was on. I immediately called the station and the DJ gave me an 800 number where I was able to order a vinyl copy. Over the years, I've listened to it on and off, but not for the last few years since my turntable went to the basement to make room for more modern equipment. A couple of weeks ago, I had my son use his turntable to dub a copy of the title song onto a cassette for a gift for a friend of mine; then my wife got the idea to look it up on Amazon.com. She found it and gave it to me for Father's Day - it sounds even better on CD and I've rekindled my love for the title song and the album.

Its Amazing, December 10, 2004
Its amazing how this little lady's music could have fallen through the cracks of the music industries walls. After hearing Midnight Blue years ago, I have since searched for her music and found nothing (Ah, but all is not lost...read on). Thanks to eBay, I found an old album in great shape (I still have an old 33rpm player, dates me, huh) and finally could play the song over and over. Until that time her music was played only now and then over a local PBS FM radio station. Then came the internet, and after diligent searches I found: www.louisetucker.co.uk, which is her newly made home page, which will allow you to purchase her two CD's online. If nothing else, use her homepage to contact her and let her know how much you love Midnight Blue.

One of the Best, But hidden for years, April 30, 2004
I first heard Midnight Blue by Louise Tucker around 1983. The only place it could be heard was on a small AM station in New Bruswick, NJ, WCTC. All the large NY radio stations were changing formats and of what music they were playing was geared more toward the harder edge. After hearing it just a few times, it seemed to disappear into oblivion. Now thanks of the internet this magnificent recording can be distributed to many who enjoy it. It will go down in my memory as one of the all times classics, that unfortunately did not get much air time. Her voice, the harmony, the arrangement are all unique. You will not be disappointed.

First heard it in 1983!!, April 1, 2001
I'm sooo thrilled to have found this wonderful album on CD. It is truly the most hauntingly beautiful, sensual music YOU WILL EVER LISTEN TO....I have the original release on an "old 33/1/3" record from the very early 80's and it is a treasure. THANK YOU AMAZON - YOU ARE THE BEST.....

Inspirational Music from Louise Tucker!, June 28, 2000
We have had the extreme privilege of experiencing the glorious voice of Louise Tucker first hand. She is not only a talented artist but a charismatic woman. Since we have heard her we have not been able to stop playing her album. It is a truly amazing record an we urge anyone with a good taste in music to buy it-you will never look back! When will this incredible voice become as recognised as it is deserves to be? The mainstream audience are being deprived! The title track on this album has to be our favorite the clarity and emotion with which she sings is remarkable. We wish that she will listen to our plea and release another album as her voice is an inspiration to us.

Midnight Blue, January 5, 2007
I bought this album when it first came out in the early eighties, or thereabouts. Few vocalists rise to Louise Tucker's superbly beautiful renditions of lyrics set to classical standards. (Allison Moyet may be added to this category of superb vocalists as well.) Personal favorites include title cut, Only for You, Waiting for Hugo. I practically worn through the grooves on two albums, and will now likely purchase the re-released project on cd. Much good here. Any money spent on this singer is well spent.

Fantastic: Only wished Louise recorded more than she did!, May 27, 1999
I've been a fan of Louise for quite a few years. "Midnight Blue" is one of my favorite albums. I only wished Louise would've recorded more than the few albums that she did. YES, you read right, Louise did place out two albums besides "Midnight Blue", and I've been lucky enough to have found them. Louise recorded an album entitled "After The Storm" in 1983, then in 1990, "The Best of Louise Tucker". "The Best Of" includes various songs from her only two known albums to date. I just wish they were available on CD. If anyone knows of any other recording Louise has done please feel free to e-mail me, or if any one knows any of the Opera's that Louise has sung on and are in print let me know. Happy hunting, and by the way Amazon, thanks for having "Midnight Blue" hope you'll be able to find these others on CD that way the other people who enjoy Louise as much as I do will have the pleasure of listening to them.

Why Louise Tucker is not a household name amazes me. I get chills every time I hear Midnight Blue.
