First let me say that this cover is so AWESOME, and when I saw the cover I knew I was going to get the book if for nothing else for the cover, but knowing that Wayne wrote the story I also knew I had to read it.

This the is third book in the Buchanan Brothers story. Daniel Buchanan and if you read the 1st & 2nd book then you will remember...

1.0 out of 5 stars No FAVOR!
I tried to get into this book but I couldn't. Simply put it lacked "flavor". I have read Wayne Jordan before and throughly enjoyed it. Knowing his reputation I was ready to curl up and read another HOT romance; however I was truly let down. I can usually read a book fast; however it literally took me a week, I only finished it just because. I couldn't get into the hero or...

First let me say that this cover is so AWESOME, and when I saw the cover I knew I was going to get the book if for nothing else for the cover, but knowing that Wayne wrote the story I also knew I had to read it.

This the is third book in the Buchanan Brothers story. Daniel Buchanan and if you read the 1st & 2nd book then you will remember Daniel story at the end of Embrace the Moonlight was saw where Daniel did not attend Mason & Lianne marriage because he had just lost his wife and daughter in a car accident

I read Midnight Kisses by Wayne Jordan, and just let me say that if you read Capture the Sunrise & Embrace the Moonlight by Wayne then you will be ready for Daniel story. Daniel was the minster and tragedy struck him and lost his way in life. Even minister suffer heartache, but Daniel journey to healing make a wonderful story. Forgiveness that is what Daniel had to learn in order to heal.

Loved MIDNIGHT KISSES and loved the cover. Daniel lost his wife and daughter in a car accident. Renee was left at the alter.
Both Daniel and Renee had given up on love. Daniel and Renee meet one another and both have a very strong attraction. Together they learn to heal and love again. This is a excellent romance novel. I will highly recommend this book to all that love romance novels.

5.0 out of 5 stars terrific contemporary romance, October 3, 2010
This review is from: Midnight Kisses (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)

Daniel Buchanan grew up in Oak Park, Illinois; opened a church in Brooklyn; and married the perfect wife Lorraine. His world and faith shattered when his spouse and child died in a Brooklyn hospital. For one year, Daniel wandered aimlessly around the country until six months ago he settled in Chicago working as a counselor at the Hope Center. Thanksgiving always leaves him alone in a rage.

Having been jilted at the altar should have taught Renee Walker a lesson about men. However, her caring mom keeps setting her up, but after the latest arrogant jerk she has had enough. She swears off men and will dedicate more of her time with her social work in Chicago. Though they have not met both see the same shooting star and he wishes to one wish again while she wishes for true love.

Two years later, Daniel and Renee meet at Vincent Memorial where he came to face demons in a hospital after helping a teen who was knocked to the pavement; and she came on a social worker call as the girl is a probable runaway. They are attracted to one another and agree to go slowly, but each has psychological issues to overcome if they want a permanent loving relationship.

This is a terrific contemporary romance as the social worker who gave up on love first befriends the man with the sad eyes while the counselor who gave on life sees caring in her eyes. Wayne Jordan provides readers with a sensational story of the healing power of love and enhanced by a nurturing family.

I loved MIDNIGHT KISSES! Daniel's inner turmoil and journey to love again is wonderful. The tropical setting makes it even better. Can't wait for the next book.

This is the first book that I read that you have written and I enjoyed. The story about how Daniel saved a young girl took her to the hospital and would check on her to see how she was progressing, even though he hated to be in hospitals since his wife passed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Read, June 11, 2011
I loved this book. Read it in one day. The story is one that many people can relate to especially when questioning your faith after losing a loved one. It's an awesome story if I keep on going I will enclose too much of the story. I would recommend you read the other books in this series Slow Motion : Capture The Sunrise/Dark and Dashing (Arabesque) and Embracing The Moonlight (Kimani Romance). I hope you enjoy the series and come to long for a trip to Barbados.

4.0 out of 5 stars Touching Story, November 4, 2010

I liked this story a lot. It was easy to read, the romance may not be steaming but its more about human endearment with a romantic twist. i enjoyed the heros journey. He isolated himself but i think he needed to do that to heal, to find out about himself and just appreciate people and not be too quick to judge. a true test of character is when u go thru such a tragedy and able to learn from it and move on. The heroine was great, she was very understanding. I would recommend u read this, if you want steamy romance romance, not for u but i really think its a fab read. enjoy

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE Covers a Multitude of SIN!, October 27, 2010

This review is from: Midnight Kisses (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
In a story where redemption and forgiveness is found on many levels, Wayne Jordan superbly writes a romance that fills every artery of the heart with forgiveness and love....a love only found in a family. Continuing the Buchanan Brothers Series, Wayne, brings to the forefront the sad, yet remarkable story of Daniel Buchanan. Pulling out the big guns, this story travels through time on the rollercoaster of every emotion known to man, leaving you not only crying with the characters, but, also rejoicing and questioning your own capacity to forgive, love and most of all trust God after a tragedy takes all that you believed you lived for. I highly recommend this wonderful book, but not before highly recommending you read the previous books in this series, "Capture the Sunrise," and "Embracing the Moonlight." Reading the previous novels will provide you with a better understanding and a deeper revelation into the lives and relationships of these handsome and very sexy Buchanan Brothers. Awesome job Wayne, this was truly and Outstanding Read! Can't wait for the next novel to drop!
