Editorial Reviews

Product Description
At last a `proper' CD release for G.B.H.'s third studio album, originally issued by Rough Justice in 1985. Now comes with four bonus tracks, the rare 'Oh No It's G.B.H. Again' EP. The booklet features original album artwork & now comes with lyrics to every song & liner notes. Bonus tracks, 'Malice In Wonderland', 'Lost In The Fog', 'Get Out Of The City' & 'Company Of Wolves'.

5.0 out of 5 stars GBH at their tightest, April 19, 2004
By mousetrapx1 "MT" (Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA, The World) - See all my reviews
I also cant understand why this album never caught on...now or when it was released. Its not like GBH was doing anything other punks werent doing (As other reviewer says, Discharge...but Broken Bones and even Exploited went full metal, with less noteworthy results). This album is an important and interesting lp. This is easily GBH's best single album, and the extra tracks are a real bonus (I had totally forgotten about the ep that followed MMandBeyond). Also has their best sound, production-wise: sinewy, rather than spindly. Could it be that many listeners couldnt get past the song "Limpwristed"? Maybe for the reason that it is an anti-homophobia song? Hmm...

4.0 out of 5 stars Underrated, no idea why, May 29, 2003
This album was pretty soundly ignored or downright hated by most of the punks I knew at the time. I never knew why. As far as I'm concerned it was the last worthwhile record GBH put out. I seem to recall people accusing it of being "too metal." Again, I don't know why; this album is packed to the gills with great catchy punk rock. It may have been a knee jerk reaction because of what had been happening at the time with other British punk bands who really were going full on heavy metal... i.e. Discharge, English Dogs, Sacrilege, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars once they changed their name to just GBH....., October 14, 2005
By Steve "SBN" (Kenosha, WI) - See all my reviews
This is a good album, but it sounds a little different than their charged stuff. It's sounds like they were recording it in a live audience because it has a little echoes when Colin sings or when the drums are playing. it's not like it's a bad album, but it's just a little different and not as good as their Chraged stuff.

By far, the best GBH album made. It's about pure energy, and hard-driving GBH not found on their other releases. Read more
