California pop music and banjo's...who could ask for more?!?!,
By Dan L. Manes "Happy, clappy music person" (United States; Cleveland , Ohio) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Midnight Matinee (Audio CD)
A very catchy album in which i picked up because of the instruments listed which were banjo, mandolin, pedal steel, tuba, vibraphones and piano. I figured that was worth a risk in itself! The music is in the vein of California pop mixed with modern alternative. A very laid back yet poppy vibe. Sometimes reminds me of Olivia Tremor Control but with more polish. The album is solid all the way through and in my estimation, worth picking up. Give it a try!
