4.0 out of 5 stars Why no reviews?
I'm not much of a review writer but I read a ton of them. I can't understand why this record is not getting more attention. There was media behind the release but there's nothing on allmusic and nothing here. Very strange to me as this is an excellent record from a truly wonderful band. I missed them while they were gone and welcome them back. Buy this record and go...

Buy this record and go see them when they come to your town. This is real music. The only negative for me is Cary's near constant reliance on dope references. I'm far from a prude and enjoyed nice lines like "cruising on the lakeside, rolling up a double wide" but I can't help but tire of them on the new record. I think at least half the songs have some reference to pot and most very thinly veiled. No biggie, just a little odd to me from a song writer with such obvious talent.

This a wonderful reunion album from what I consider the best of the pack of alt. country rock bands (i.e. Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, Wilco, etc.). And btw AL. W Pittman is deaf and DUMB!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Blue Mountain back together, August 20, 2009
This review is from: Midnight in Mississippi (Dig) (Audio CD)
Blue Mountain are finally back together and are better than ever! The only thing better than listening to this CD is seeing them live.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why is MP3 Download not available?, October 3, 2008
I would like to buy this MP3 album, but can't.

On the CD page, Amazon says it is also available as a download, but when you click on the link, it is not available. It shows a track list, but no preview....no purchase.

What a tease.

(The 5 stars is because their other stuff is so good. I'll adjust when Amazon makes the download available and I finally get to hear it.)
