You will love Dan Blaylock from page one and you will be completely involved in watching he and Hannah dance around one another, literally and figuratively. Dan is a lovely man who is always there for everyone in the community, loved by dogs and children, and has waited years for Hannah to return his love and care. He has been quietly protecting her loved ones and her inheritance for many years, as he did Hannah herself during her younger years, tying his own life and survival to her needs, unbeknownst to Hannah. Dan's family and the charming little town of Jasmine, Montana has had front row seats to the devotion and is very happy to be watching what they pray will be "the claiming".

Hannah has been growing into an accomplished, mature professional, but has finally realized that she has been weighted down with her old family unhappiness and comes home to settle her heart, and her leftover feelings for Dan. Her desperation to sort through and settle her personal darkness on her own terms and in her own way highlights Dan's love and devotion as he struggles to give her the time and space she needs to find her own answers, when all he really wants to do is scoop her up, hold her tight, and protect her from the world and everything dangerous in it.

The wonderful Blaylock family appear regularly in this story, as they and the townsfolk of Jasmine try to get Dan to hurry up and convince Hannah they were meant for each other. You will fall in love with the town and the family. Ms. London crafts her characters and stories with such magic that you will feel like you are truly a family member and will wish the story to go on forever, getting to know all that happens to your friends in the future. The great news is that she has many other books that will let you visit this town and this family again and you will want to find them all.

You will fall in love with Dan and Hannah, you will root for them with a smile on your face and in your heart, and you will immediately want to find another of Cait London's magic stories. She truly has a special gift for weaving warm and captivating stories and characters. Please share the joy.
