5.0 out of 5 stars BEHIND THE COVER, September 14, 2001

What this cover is doing here? This is the cover of the album "2nd Anniversary", 1975, Buddah Records, one of the best albuns of Gladys'career! However, this cd mentioned above is just another collection of Gladys Knight and The Pips. If it's good? Obvious! All the musics of this selection are excellent! But the only ones contained in the original album, (that one that has this cover) are "Part Time Love", "Georgia On My Mind" and "Feel Like Making Love". If you don't know Gladys Knight and The Pips and their musics, this cd is a good chance of knowing them (and become fan), but if know them well, this is a mistake! This isn't the original album! Search for "2nd Anniversary"!

Having mistakenly purchased re-recorded versions of this classic title track, it was a relief to find that the album contained all original 60's recordings.

As I said, a classic!

5.0 out of 5 stars WHERE IS SHE NOW?, February 11, 2001

This is an album full of grace and peace. Gladys and her team have put together a wonderful package here. I would go anywhere in the world to see her in concert, so let me know if she's playing near you soon! This album is an excellent purchase even at twice the price.

This is really a "best of" album, GK and the Pips at their best. I like every song, but I really love So Sad The Song; it has replaced Stardust as my favorite most beautiful song. I dare anyone to listen to this version of So Sad The Song with producing a few tears.
