4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't anyone appreciate the classics anymore?
Has no one heard of Pygmalion, the classic Greek tale of the sculptor who carves a statue so lovely he falls in love with it? And it's fantasy after all, if you can believe in vampires, werewolves, etc. why not a statue that comes to life. Especially a hot one. Doesn't anyone have an imagination anymore?

2.0 out of 5 stars Slow Read...1 OK Story out of 3 is BAD
I read all kinds of romance...loving most. The gargoyle statue was the best this book offered, and that is not saying much.

There was no way to "connect" to these characters. I felt really let down with abrupt endings and forced scenarios. My time and money could be better spent elsewhere.

I usually LOVE Ellora's Cave...what happened to this...

I read the first story by Saly Painter and I had to force my way through the whole story. The fact that the lady was having sex with a statue and did not see anything wrong that is too wierd for me. The book is crap, please save your money!
