This review is from: Midnight Voices (Paperback)
Deborah Ager's work has been featured in various publications and she's been editor and publisher of 32 Poems Magazine for quite some time, but Midnight Voices is her first published book of poetry, which is no small feat in this day and age. All I can say is that It was well worth the wait. Ager has a unique voice, a knack for pushing metaphors to their limit, and an emotional seismograph able to register the faintest of human disturbances. It's pretty rare in a book of over 50 poems that I truly enjoy almost all of them.
