Already a classic, the CD contains the original recording, plus additional tracks and different versions. Of The Wand And The Moon, who hail from Denmark, is one the few neo-folk bands who can uphold the high standards once set by bands like Death in June, Fire + Ice, and Sol invites.

I just wanted to say that any fan who really enjoys all of the Of the Wand & the Moon full length albums should try as hard as they can to find this. Even though it is less than a half hour long, it is just as good as any of the albums, if not better than some of them.

The sound is similar to "Emptiness" or "Nighttime Nightrhymes". Calm, acoustic strumming; suppressed vocals with whispers sprinkled in; and dim keyboards befogging reality.

The title track adds some mystic "glinting" sounds adding to the ambiance, and has a nice steady rhythm.

"A Mass" is one of those instrumental tracks that each album usually has, this one containing some tribal drumming on top of some distant noises and growls from creatures.

"Winter Veil" is a somewhat joyful sounding track, despite the very agonizing, wretched lyrics.

"A Dirge" is my new favorite track from the band, with several keyboard and piano melodies adding to the rhythmic strumming; metrical, spoken vocals; and subtle, yet critical percussion, all adding up to a very distinct musical experience.

The live track is a nice addition as well; you can barely even tell it's live until the audience cheers at the end.

This is a great EP and certainly should not be overlooked.
