More About the Author

AlTonya Washington has been a published romance novelist for 6 years. Her novel Finding Love Again won the Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award for Best Multicultural Romance 2004. In July 2008, she released her twelfth novel A Lover's Worth. August 2009 marked the release of her thirteenth and fourteenth novels: Rival's Desire and Passion's Furies. In addition to teaching a community college course entitled Writing the Romance Novel she works as a Senior Library Assistant and resides in North Carolina. AlTonya will release her fifteenth novel Hudson's Crossing in March 2009. In March 2009, AlTonya- writing as T. Onyx- released an electronic version of her debut erotica title Truth In Sensuality. In August 2009 she will release her debut audio title Another Love and the final installment in her Ramsey series A Lover's Soul. She enjoys reading crime fiction and is a huge fan of Nora Robert's In Death series. Her favorite author is Stephen King and spending a weekend afternoon curled up with a classic movie is another one of her favorite things.

Ok here is another hand clap for another great book! I like Topaz and how AlTonya brought the whole issue of a woman having male friends and how people "perceive" it. Topaz was funny too and some times too sweet for her own good. And the hero Alex...phew! LOL! The way he was described and those eyes. Yea he really had a lot going on with him and when he got mad...goodness! But still once you understood the war that he had going on within himself it really made my heart go out to him. There is a whole lot of emotion running through this story. I really liked the dialog between the characters (I could relate/that's how I talk with my freinds and such) and the mentioning of music through out the story. Once again BRAVA!!!

Altonya Washington is a good writer. This is the 4th book I've read by Altonya. She is the best !! If you like Brenda Jackson, Rochelle Alers, then you'll like Altonya...
