5.0 out of 5 stars Midsummer madness, May 5, 2000
By A Customer
This is a fun book to read. The story takes place in the small town of Emerald Gap. Juliet Huddleston is the very shy bookkeeper and Cody McIntyre is the town hunk. On her 30th birthday Juliet promises herself that the next 30 will be lived to the fullest. After some discussion Juliet directs the town's largest attraction - Midsummer Madness. 10 days of fun with tourists coming from near and far! They have grownup together in this small town and are just finding their love for each other. It was worth staying up late to read.

4.0 out of 5 stars sweet smalltown romance, September 23, 2011
This review is from: Midsummer Madness (Mass Market Paperback)
Shy small-town accountant wants a more adventurous life now that she's 30 & volunteers to head the town's Midsummer Madness festival to the surprise of her longtime friend & landlord Hero. Hero's been taken aback by the little changes she's been making & starts to notice her as an attractive woman. They share some kisses but heroine can't believe popular Hero would want more from her. How will he persuade her to believe otherwise?

Cute romance. Good sexual chemistry & love scenes. Major character development in Hero & heroine already occurred by the time the book started but can see the thread of its continuation as the story unfolds. I liked that heroine's change was mostly in her behaviors & attitude & that's what caught Hero's attention more than the slight changes in her looks. His sudden attraction towards her was believable.

Recommended.
