I was so excited about this item. It looks beautiful but had lots of trouble putting it together. No matter what we did it did not fit together right. I bought it to go over a 24" midwest crate. I think they need a re-design on this product. The legs never did fit right even after my husband tried everything. The screws stick out too far. If they had thought to countersink the screws it would have been fine. Too late for us to return because we have scratched it trying to "fix" it. It is beautiful just be very careful not to scratch so you can return it. Maybe if they get enough complaints...

When the table was assembled and placed on top of crate the legs are above the floor by about 2 inches. In other words the table legs never touch the floor at all. Although it looks nice in my living room, It is very unusual that a table never acturally sits on the floor.

This is a nice product it terms of style and finish, BUT... Amazon suggests the wrong Midwest crate to use with it. I bought this and the suggested crate in the appropriate size. It doesn't fit! The sugested crate is a 1600 series modle, double door crate. After delivery and attempted setup, it was apparent that the crate is too large for the table. Reading the enclosed instructions, Midwest indicates that it is designed for a 1500 series iCrate. So I ordered this and wrong crate with expedited shipping so that our new rescue dog can use it when we bring him home tonight. Now I'm on my way to PetSmart to by the correct crate at retail price w/tax. I'm hoping Amazon will take responsibility and work with me so that I'm not stuck with return shipping charges for the 1600 series crate. Very frustrating!
