5.0 out of 5 stars Not really a toy
This tool is very helpful in cutting wood up to 3/4" of an inch. Very easy to use, and sharp enough to cut through a person's finger (don't try). The tool help me out in college while working on projects, but sucks in cutting foam core. The ultimate easy cutter has angles, which is very useful.

2.0 out of 5 stars doesn't cut well, dull blade
should have known at such a great price, this cutter is just not up to par. the blade is not sharp at all. gave it two stars because i was able to remove the guide and use it on a good pair that the guide had broken on.

Ultimate is a great description of this tool. I make small model RR projects and this is my most used tool. I even had my grand children help me to make cuts and do the angle adjustments. Everyone that sees the tool wants one, and that's how I came to buy it. A friend let me use it once and that was all it took to get me to order one.
This has a great angle cutting guide and making duplicate cuts is as easy as laying the first piece over the one to be cut and squeeze.
Most of my cuts have been made in wood like popcicle sticks and small hobby woods.
Works great!

Sturdy tool we used for cutting popsicle sticks to build a bridge for math class. One of the few products you'll find that actually will last for decades. Worth the price.

This isn't a toy and thus should not be listed in a toy category. However, it is a great cutter of wood. I build wooden ship models and this thing is great for quickly cutting pieces of wood very easily. If you do anything that requires cutting strips of wood accurately and cleanly, you want this this cutter. Wish it had come out years ago! And Amazon seems to have a far better price on it than anybody else.

i use the cutter for installing quarter round and shoe molding. its a lot easier to cut shoe molding and it takes a man to cut oak quarter round but it does the job. this is one of the best tools i own, no more mitre saw. the blade is removable so it can be replaced or sharpen with ease.

Nice little cutter that takes the hassle and guesswork out of clipping and nipping. I use it for model boat building, but this cutter can be used for a lot of products that require precise cuts in small pieces of wood. A good find for the hobbiest.

1.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Disappointed, October 8, 2011

I am a model builder, and hoped to purchase this tool to make the occasional quick cut, instead of having to go to the miter saw every time. It is sharp, and cuts through wood pretty easily, but this tool does not make accurate cuts at all. It's wonky in every direction. If you were working in a larger scale, maybe it wouldn't be as noticeable, I'm not sure. But, if you really need a 120 degree angle to actually be a 120 degree angle, this is definitely not the right tool for the job. If you don't mind inaccurate cuts, I guess this is what you're looking for.

I bought this tool to cut popsicle sticks for a craft project. It works well, but does require some force to cut the sticks. I would buy it again.

I use to cut 1/4 round molding. It worked good, but the angle guide was kind of loose. Keeps you from having to go to the saw for every cut.
