Great Dog Mattress for Inside a Crate!!! ***CAUTION: WILL SHRINK IF PUT IN DRYER***

I've used these beds for almost a year now and they have lasted well despite being the bed of my very destructive puppy. He loves this bed! He not only loves to sleep on it but he likes to pull it out of his crate and try to shake it and toss it around too. The only thing he managed to destroy are the paper tags, so I just cut them off. My only word of caution is do not put these beds in the dryer!!! I used to own the smaller size (12" x 17" I think) and I washed and dried it all the time with very little shrinkage. But apparently this bigger size shrinks a whole lot more. I bought one and washed and dried it once and it shrunk up way too much to be usable in his crate anymore. So now I am buying two more so I can have a spare while the freshly washed one is air-drying. These beds do keep their plush shape and if it looks a little flat, just wash it and it will fluff back up.

I had received a small size bed from my mother because her cat didn't like it...weird cat! Mine loved it, but it was simply too small for them to be comfortable on, so I ordered 2 of the 23x18 beds and they're a big hit! They're very soft and padded enough to provide just the right amount of cushion for my cats. One of my kitties immediately started to knead on the bed when I put it down and he hardly ever does that with anything! My other cat jumped on his, curled up and went straight to sleep. These things are awesome! Two paws up! >^..^< >^..^<

Dog already ate this bed
While our Great Pyr/Lab mix seemed to enjoy this bed in his favorite nook under the kneehole of my husband's computer desk, he chewed it to pieces after a few weeks.

Good materials - makes a nice crate liner
Just two things to note: it is not as plush as the picture suggests which is why I use it as a crate pad rather than a lounge bed and it also holds a lot of static. Read more

not what they seem to be
Not as thick as appears. These are the same you can get from walmart for the same price. They wear out fast and if you have to wash them become useless quick.
