Calling all indie music fans...this is a must own album. Maggie has a unique voice, a gift for lyrics, an ear for melody and harmony and has pulled in some truly amazing musicians to play on this album. Female fans should pay special attention to Maggie's gift of insight and imagery.

In an era where we seem to have lost focus on what it really means to be a poet, to create art, to sculpt music, rather than just be the face of pre-digested pop art made in musical maquilladoras (Britney, Avril...I'm looking in your direction) Maggie is a reminder of what the title "Musician" should represent. Thank you Maggie.

I first "met" Maggie Walters on MySpace.

The first song of hers I heard was "Under The Table".

I bought "Midwestern Hurricane" before I bought her first self-titled CD "Maggie Walters".

Maggie has made even professional singers and musicians stand up and take notice. Her writing and singing is that of a young woman striving to find herself, and yet knowing exactly what she wants as an artist.

Her voice takes the listener to a special place.

i can't remember how i discovered maggie walters, but boy, am i glad i did! this collection is sassy, sultry, soulful... i love it.
