Questions were adequate, but answer rationales were often lacking. I had to look up better explanations in several cases, which was not a huge deal, but left me unimpressed. The wrong letter is occasionally printed in the answer section -- leading to me thinking I got things wrong when I actually didn't, and vice versa. (Of course you would read the rationale & discover the true answer anyway, but I found the mistakes to be really annoying!)
EDIT: After taking the WHNP exam I have to say -- the questions in this book were pretty far from the questions on the actual exam. As you're going through this book, the questions seem to make sense. You understand what they're asking, what principle they're trying to see if you understand, and why it's important. The questions are a good way to test your knowledge as you're studying. But you should know that the ones on the WHNP exam have only 3 answer choices (not 4, as in this book) -- and they are different: shorter, random, sometimes flat out stupid. They aren't good questions to check your understanding and depth of knowledge, like the ones in this book. I can't even explain it -- other than, while taking the NCLEX I definitely felt "at home," like I was in the middle of dozens of practice questions I'd been doing for weeks leading up to the test. I did NOT feel this way during the WHNP exam after using this study book. The questions seemed foreign.
The book is still a good study tool. Just understand that you will not exactly be preparing for the exact type of questions you'll be seeing on the test. And for what it's worth, I passed the test easily, even though it took me by surprise. This was the only practice question book I had.
