Took a while to get to me, but it was worth the wait. I wish now we had bought the vacuum that was a little more and came with the hepa and this floor attachment standard. However, it was worth every penny and works fabulously. Only problem is when I have a floor runner, this is definitely not for carpets. I have to go one way only to get the cat hair up or switch to the carpet floor tool. That is a pain, so I just go in one direction over and over, so that it doesn't do this sorta 'flip' up on the pull back. Works for me on all my hardwood floors and the swivel head really turns any which way you need.

I looked into Miele A LOT & I ended up going with the entry level vacuum (Olympus) & bought this attachment. This works really well on all hard surfaces without scratching - as an added bonus it also works fine on our area rugs. We have all wood floors & the combo I selected (Olympus + Parquet twister) is perfect!

I'm a great fan of Miele vacuums. I just bought this Parquett Twister and it's now my favorite for bare floors. We have a NYC apt the size of a placemat, and this tool lets us easily twist and turn around and under furniture of all shapes. It saves time and makes the task more pleasant.

I bought a Miele Capricorn canister vacuum when we moved into our new house in summer 2010. The parquet floor tool that came with our vacuum fell apart when we tried to use it within 2 days. The dealer told me it just needed to be "resprung," but after he fixed it and it continued to fall apart, he told me it was "defective" and ordered me a new one. My daughter recently stepped on the new one and broke it, so I took it back to the dealer. This time he told me that the tool is not really meant to come apart and I would probably have to replace it. He did get it back together for me, but it's falling apart as I try to sweep with it. I am not impressed with the quality - this is an EXPENSIVE floor tool. I am probably less impressed with my local dealer, to whom I will not be returning, but I have not had a positive experience with this thing.
