ONE of the BEST Miffy books!,

There are so many Great things to say about this book....I don't know where to start!I have enjoyed many Miffy books and a lot of others by Dick Bruna. As a young Child I was very sick and had to have a lot of operations, through ages 1 - 10. My mother bought this book right before I was to go into the hospital again. I was very scared, but this book helped me get ready for what might happen!I think any child would love this story, and would be able to relate to others! But for a child who has to have an operation it's even better! It tells everything that might happen when you go to the hospital!It's very relaxing and calming,... I read this a lot to my sisters child. She is not sick, but she just loves to read thhis book over and over and over!! The other neat thing is that if your child is having anoperation, it is REALLY easy to change a few words and make Miffy have the same operation as you child!I think this is one of the best childrens books ever, and it also has so many different uses, and different meanings for your child! They will love it and will want to hear it over and over again!! : ) IT'S GREAT!!

This was given by me as a gift to my nephew prior to his mother's second delivery at the hospital. He loves the story; his mother and I love the drawings and stories - here in English - from the original Dutch language books with the lead character "Nijntje".
