"One of a disappearing breed",

Larry Mckenna is "unfortunately" one of the last great musicians and saxaphone players to play so lyrically and produce such a beautiful sound. Having been around Philadelphia most of my life, I've had the privledge of listening to Larry in person many times. This work is just a small sampling of this man's talents and has to be one of the most beautiful cd's ever produced!

Being a sax player in a professional band I an always looking for sax players to listen to to get new ideas in playing styles. A friend recommended listening to Larry Mckenna. Well I did and I really enjoy the soft sound and style of this player. Great playing style. I plan to check out more of his CD's. Great CD.

He's a great player, melodic, etc. But honestly how far do you go to copy one artist?
