for games 3 to 5 very extensive and well detailed, with very few errors, however I felt prima cheated me as i needed the book for M&M2 and there is nothing in the book about 1 or 2 as if i remember correctly the book states they are so old no one has them any more (I have them on my C-128)

I had ordered this book for hints and tips on Might & Magic 2, because, as the title says, it's the "Authorized Strategy Guide to Games I-V". But when I got the book, I soon found out that they put games 1 and 2 into a small TWO PAGE summary. There were no hints, no clues, no solutions, and there was NO HELP for either 1 or 2. So this book was USELESS!

If you have used any of the Strategy Guides for Might and Magic 6 through 9, you know how complete they are with information about quests, items, monsters, and game play - enough in fact, so that even a beginner can finish the game with a minimum of frustration. Unfortunately such is NOT true of this Guide. It does have maps which are fairly good, and information about spells and monsters which is sometimes helpful, but almost nothing about game-play or Quests or how to navigate the frustrating areas.
If you are as foolish as I was, and decide to buy the Older M&M 1-5, this is better than nothing. But I really recommend that you invest your money elsewhere. The games DO NOT work on modern computers, and even on our old one that runs Windows 98 (that we keep in the spare room) only #3 loaded. All in all - the Games and the Guide were a BIG disappointment.

It's really tragic that people want to make money with something like this - and even more tragic that other might actually shell out money for it.
