Not sure how "Mighty" they are, but the kids love them....,

My mother was manipulated into buying these for the kids on a store trip with my 3yo. I rolled my eyes, and thought to myself "Great, more small pieces for them to lose." Of course as soon as I read the pamphlet and started seeing that some beanz were worth more than others, they're collectible/tradeable and some were just plain cute, I was addicted. Having 4 children, we ended up with 24 beanz. There were only 2 repeats in the whole bunch, which impressed me, since they were bought from the same batch. We got 2 of the rarest(but not the Mighty Moose). My mother in law says that many years ago, there were toys called Mexican Jumping Beans(not the ones with worms, actual toys) that her kids played with and these are supposedly very similiar. These are basically little capsule shaped plastic pieces with some type of metal(?) ball inside that rolls from one end to the other allowing it to move. They have cartoonish pictures of people and animals. I'm not sure how they apply the pictures, but they can and DO scrape off with normal play. On the plus side, my youngest has used and abused the beanz, and they have yet to break. I didn't see how these Beanz were going to keep my childrens attention, as they don't really do much, but it gives a list of games in the pamphlet, and they had fun trying them out. My 3yo is especially good at creating things to do with them. Unfortunately, my eye rolling b/c they are small and easily lost was justified. We are now down to 14 out of 24. Needless to say, my review is mixed. These are great for collecting, and fun for children of most ages, but I highly reccomend 6 and older(It reccomends 5 and up), and be prepared for some to be lost unless you have a very responsible child. Start collecting and have fun!

Mighty Beanz are great. They are little collectible plastic beans that you can collect and put in a giant collectors box. You can buy 3 packs and 6 packs and it comes with a guide about Mighty Beanz that will tell you about the secret club greeting, the Mighty Beanz points and the rare Mighty Moose bean. I am 8 years old and I love them and so do my 5 year old sister and 3 year old brother. They can be very fun but be careful not to lose them because they are pretty small.

My son is 6 years old and when he heard there was something new he could collect he was very HAPPY. I don't let him have violent toys so this is a great alternative. All of us sit down and play games with them. My daughter even enjoys playing with them. Like I said a great non-violent toy. It is worth the cost and they don't get lost like most little toys.

This toy captured my interest because it looked fun, and because I ollect sooo many things I could add these to my collection of collections. The charachters are fun, appropriet, cute, and relative to many things. There are about 14 or so written games and many others you can make up.Personally I enjoy how portable they are. You can do so many things with them and I really enjoy having them!

The Mighty Beanz from Spin Masters are a very intresting toy indeed. Each set has six beanz. Each marked with a character print. Some are worth more than others. which makes them perfect for collecters. The actual bean is very sturdy. Holding up to lots of play. Yet the same cannot be said for the character print which is easily scraped and torn away. Yet kids do have quite a time watching them roll and bounce around. Thats not all either they also come with a guide of games to play with them. So it will keep them busy for hours. Yet kids also seem to get bored with them after a week or so. So I am not sure how long this item will last on the market. I would say it is more for collecters than children. Their marked for 5+ but i would say it was more for 7 to 10. Cause a little kid is not going to care if something is collectible or not. They have big plans for this line of products, and this is only the first series. ...

This is yet another example of mass marketing of worthless "collectibles" for kids (like Pokemon cards). Mighty Beanz are just small plastic capsules with a weight inside to make them flop and roll. And the more collectible ones are $5.00+! My son begged for them for his birthday, so we got a dozen beans and the carrying case for them. The racetrack wasn't available at that time. So he looked at them, said how cool they were, threw a couple of them around, and then never looked at them again. For Christmas I got him the racetrack, hoping to revive some interest in the Beanz. The racetrack was a floppy, cheaply made piece of junk that none of us could get to work properly. So, before you waste $20 or more on beans, racetrack, carrying case, or any of the other accessories they come up with, DON'T!

It is a fun set of "Mighty Beans", I think it was pretty deluxe. Much more entertaining than "Nac-Nac"s in the way that they just sit there and these jump all over the room and you can race, mezmorize pets, confuse smaller siblings, and entertain yourself when your bored and when your in class and your teacher is giving some dumb lecture. The best thing about them is, there are tons to collect!

I don't care who says there a waste or their a boring, these toys can be REALLY fun. If you get a group of friends to collect with you their fun to collect, trade, and play games with. Even talking about them makes me want to go nuts. The downside is they can get boring playing with them by yourself I'de suggest you atleast get one pack...
