Great for ANY purpose!
I ordered this for reading books and directions written in small print. It really serves its purpose. I have shared some with some older women at church, and they get alot of use out of it.

You can't beat the portibility of these bookmark magnifiers. I suggest--at this price--buying several (I went ahead and bought 10). If you use these often they eventually tend to get scratched and sometimes cracked, not to mention it is easy to misplace them. Keep and use the protective sleeve to extend the usefullness of your bookmark magnifier. Great technology!!

The postage was $3.95 and considering the cost of gasoline, well worth the time and gas I would spend looking for this somewhere. Just what I needed to read my fine print Bible especially at church where lighting is sometimes poor.
