Love this thing! The light is a crisp, intense white. No washed out yellow light. Very bright even from a distance. The magnification is perfect for maps or bottles. Love the ability to fold it for storage. The handle is also thick enough for a larger hand but not too large for smaller hands. This item actually exceeded my expectations!

The thing is not that powerful and the light when it did work could barley be seen fortunately it burnt out after week and I didn't want to turn it on and be disappointed any more. This is a waste of money.

This magnifying is a piece of junk for reading purposes. It greatly distorts the letters which causes you to have to continually adjust it, which is very irritating and can cause headaches. I would not consider this product a "vision aid". I would not recommend it for anything other than burning ants! The only good features about it is that it folds, and has a light.
