I have many book lights for my kindle. I like a couple of them very much for reading with a cover, but I LOVE this one for reading WITH or WITHOUT a cover on the kindle.

The batteries and the light are very light weight.

The clip stays on even the bare kindle with no problem. It has pads on it so as not to scratch anything that it is clipped to.

It has one high intensity LED light that is bright enough to read by without being overpowering.

The neck is nice and flexible and is long enough to be positioned well without glare on the screen and to light up the entire screen very well.

This light has an place to plug in an optional a/c adapter to use without batteries installed so as to save them for use when there is no power available.

It will be easy to travel with if needed as it is not too big and is light weight.

I do recommend the black color as I have noticed that white and silver lights reflect the light back at me!

I have finally found my perfect light for my kindle that meets all of my requirements, light weight, easy, optional a/c power, does not cover up the screen when using on naked kindle, bright but not too bright, lights up the entire screen evenly, clip stays in place and does not scratch. Now, what to do with the 7 other lights that I have?

I bought this to go with my Kindle 2. I am one of those that is always looking for the 'perfect' reading light for my K2.

I currently have:

Kandle LED Book Light by Ozeri, with new WideLip grip designed for the Amazon Kindle, Sony Reader and other eBook readers
PROS: No hotspots and very lightweight. CONS: Not always bright enough at the very bottom of my screen.

M-Edge e-Luminator2 Booklight for Amazon Kindle (Fits 6" Display, 2nd gen)
PROS: Lightweight and bright. CONS: None really - I just read my Kindle naked now and don't have a cover to put the light in.

PROS: Bright enough - this is really my favorite CONS: Too heavy for me when I read in bed at night.

So I thought I would try this smaller version of the Might Bright. And I am very happy with it. More lightweight than the larger version and still bright enough.

This is a great little light for my kindle. it is so reasonably priced than most e-reader lights out there. I also have a Kandle, but it costs 2 1/2 times more than this one. I have to say, Kandle is aesthetically much better than all other e-reader lights out there, but not bright enough for the bottom portion of the kindle. This little guy is not as pretty and compact as Kandle, but it's much brighter than Kandle. Yes, there is this little glare on your kindle screen, but that's fixable (just play around with it a little and you'll see what I mean). All in all, this is a great little accessory for your night reading on your kindle device, and most importantly (at least for me), the price is right!

Pros: The LED is bright. The clip is wide enough for book of medium thickness.

Cons: Uses the button batteries (two CR2032 I think). The website or the package does not give any specification on how long the batteries will last. So you could end up buying a lot of button batteries! The LED is not replacable!

Does not come with the power supply, although the manufacturer website mentions this!

I have been using this for reading my homework waiting for my Kindle Touch to come (which is what I originally bought it for). It was great for homework, but even better for my Kindle! If you angle it from the side it removes the glare and offers just the right amount of light.

I would definitely recommend this light!

I really hate to say "I hate it" But from the fisrt day I received it it flickered so I did report this to Amazon
and they did refunded my money.

Purchased this item for my Kindle2.
I wanted to read in bed without waking my husband or toddler with a lamp.

PROS
1. Lights up, as advertised.

CONS
1. The light is brighter than my bedside lamp. I wish it had two settings. The whole point was to be able to read without disturbing anyone else. I ended up putting an infant sock over the end to "filter" the light intensity.
2. The switch is very hard to switch... with one hand I have to grab the light head with one hand, hold it tight and flip the switch with the other.
3. Foot print of the clip part is rather large and covers a tiny bit of my Kindle's screen.

It does it's job fine but in the end I'm sure there are better products out there that would be more like what I'm looking for.

I barely used this light. It might have been for the length of a total of 2 hours and it flickered, then there was this a burning smell. The light suddenly dimmed, and I'm hardly able to use it to read in the dark now. I bought it from a local bookstore so I'm not even sure if I'll be able to get refunded for this horrible light... I'll have to check the warranty to see if I can get a new one or get refunded from Mighty Bright. It really is too bad since I wanted to like this light since it had the option of using an AC adapter.

I bought this book light for my kindle touch and the construction seems solid and the light that is put out by the light is perfect. It is able to be clipped over my case also which is great. Overall, I would recommend this product to my friends.

This light is perfect to use with my Kindle Touch (which is why I purchased it)!! It lights up my Kindle in the dark perfectly with no glare. Very cute & affordable too!! Love Amazon.com's free shipping too & great prices!!
