I don't know what that other reviewer was thinking, but the Mighty Bright DOES NOT use LED light bulbs. It is called MIGHTY BRIGHT because the light is focused where you need it, and it seems "mighty bright." And these bulbs are VERY hard to locate. In my quest to find them, I actually bought an LED light bulb which fit, but which flashed out from too much voltage within 5 seconds. (Dumb me, huh?) I went to three stores to find them, including the bookstore where I originally purchased my mighty bright and could not find them anywhere locally. Was delighted (no pun intended) to find them here!

These fit the older style, incandescent bulb version of the Mighty Bright book light, NOT THE LED STYLE! Which they do make now, so these bulbs are harder to find in stores.

Quick tip for near future purchases, if you go to the Joann site directly, they have this available with free shipping right now! (as of 4/2/09) Also, Joann always has coupon codes so you might end up with a better deal than indirectly through Amazon.

Unfortunately these aren't available in Joann stores so you can't just saunter over and save on shipping. But that's ok, I stocked up because they're so hard to find in B&M stores now, plus who knows how long they will keep making them!

When the bulb burned out on my Mighty Bright reading light, I couldn't find a replacement anywhere. Fortunately, the idea came over me to search Amazon, since that is where I purchased the light itself.
Relax and stop looking, you've found the right product. They're quick shipped, packaged in twos, priced right, and relatively long lasting - even though I use my Might Bright book lamp a lot. This was a definite good find for me. The only unfortunate thing is that the shipping is as expensive as the lights, and since its a third party seller your Amazon Prime doesn't cover the shipping. I always order two or more packages to make it worth the cost of shipping. Enjoy your Mighty Bright!

I am so pleased to be able to find the Mighty Bright Book Light replacement bulbs. Replacement Bulb-2 Bulbs per pack And at such a reasonable price. They make my night time reading so much easier than some other booklights, and the replacement bulbs seem to last longer than other brands. Great product!

Since these Might Bright Replacement Bulbs are very difficult to find in the stores now, I was so glad to have found them here. Now I know where I can find them in the future!

These bulbs didn't last at all. They blew out minutes after I used them in the mighty bulb holder.

I purchased these replacement bulbs for a lamp I purchased. I haven't used them yet, but they did arrive on time and appear to be in good condition.

I was glad to find the book lights that I needed. However, I find it hard to believe that the shipping & handling expense for such tiny, light weight items should cost so much.

I dont see the point in this, the Mighty bright LED light lasts a lifetime because it uses L.E.D. therefore you will not need replacement. Besides that the product photo of this "replacement bulbs" show ordinary light bulps, not LED !!!
