Another fantastic book by Roger A Freeman. This book adds color to the other books.. "The Mighty Eigth" "The Mighty Eighth War Diary","The Mighty Eighth War Manual" and "Airfields of the Eighth Then and Now" . If you have an interest in the airwar over the ETO in WWII these books are fantastic. Many years ago I loaned a few to one of my history instructors in college.
