I am a super fan of this author and her writing style. When she writes a contemporary romance she's good at it, if it's like a historical she is good at it, if it's fantasy/sci fi she is good at it. Her writing style of telling a story from start to finish is also good.

I love this book Bridget is a heart warming character who just wants to explore, Caderyn is the hero he was adorable to me, here you have this hunter who is a merr man who is strong but treats Bridget so gentle. Avery good read love the strolling and the journey the author takes us on, the ending was so cute and funny and the sex between them was awe-some with two people that love each other. If your a fan of Michelle M. Pillow and you know her books and style then this one will not disappoint. If you never read her books before I'm sure you would like this story also give her other books a try.

This book was really difficult for me. I have read the whole "Lords of the Abyss" trilogy, and this may be my favorite hero (I'm not sure, because I found myself drawn to all of the heroes in these books), but the girl? Forget it. I eventually learned to tolerate her (just as she seemed to learn to tolerate the Mers). Caderyn is a strong, noble hunter who hides a heart of gold. Every time Bridget threw a verbal hurt at him, I cringed. At one point, I found myself wanting to yell, "Throw her back into the ocean! Try again, Caderyn! Try again!" I will say that the sex scenes in this book were very hot and well-written (just like the other two in this trilogy), so maybe it was just me not liking the personality she picked for the main female character. It is still well worth the money and I am very happy I purchased and read it.

I love Michelle Pillow's books and have most of them. The Mighty Hunter is one of my favorite. This book involves romance between a mystical creature of the deep blue and his destined human mate and makes for a great read. The setting for each scene is so ingenious and gives me the right amount of descriptions to visualize what the characters were seeing in the underwater world. I especially liked the part about the nymph dolls. Very creative. It's a great book so check it out and check out Michielle's other books, they won't disappoint! Especially the Var and Dragon series.
