This review is from: Mighty Leaf Tea Chamomile Citrus, 15-Count Whole Leaf Pouches (Pack of 3) (Grocery)
I first tried this tea at the Willard Hotel in Washington, DC because they were out of the African Amber which I'd just finished drinking. Not wanting caffeine, my choices were limited and I am so glad I gave this a whirl. In the past, although I drink chamomile, I've recently relegated my chamomile teas to use in the bath tub for a soak. My taste buds had confused the steeped tea with the aroma of dirty socks. Drinking the Mighty Leaf Tea Chamomile Citrus exposed me to a combination of flavors which are much better consumed and I had to buy some for my household. I only add milk to my Irish or English breakfast teas and I seldom add lemon. On occasion, I may add a Splenda. I add nothing at all to this tea other than just boiled water and I do not discard the teabag after brewing the first cup if I've brewed it directly into a cup. I use the single bag for two mugs worth of tea and enjoy the second cup as much as the first. The "silken" bags have a white cotton string attached to a little paper tag and they are machine stitched for security. The fabric allows for full steepage and easy cleanup. Although the fabric will not biodegrade as quickly as paper, it is lovely to touch and look at, so I try to not feel too guilty by using these bags. I really like the combination of ingredients with the chamomile, particularly the nana (mint) and am impressed by all the Mighty Leaf Teas I've tried.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars for tea? Oh yes!, May 6, 2009

I'm not much of a tea person, but this stuff is incredible (Chamomile citrus in particular). It's pricey, but worth it. The teabags themselves are a work of art. The deal here on Amazon is also great: it works out to less than half the price of my local market on a per teabag basis.

I drink a cup every night before bed and fall asleep like a baby.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great hot or cold!, August 14, 2007

Have just discovered this chamomile citrus blend and now it is without a doubt our favorite tea. We brew it in a Mr. Coffee drip pot that is dedicated to tea brewing and can get a whole pot from one tea bag so it goes a long way. It is very tasty very lightly sweetened. We love it hot or iced. It's a real winner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tea Time, January 23, 2012

I first had this tea at a favorite restaurant. It is heavenly, one of my very favorites! I order it from time to time, and when I do, I also order enough for my daughter-in-law. It's her favorite, too. (we were at the restaurant together) We love chamomile tea and the citrus hint is not overpowering. Just a great tea, for pleasure and great for head colds!

I first had this tea at Jaleo (Tapas place in Washington D.C.) It has an amazing fragrance. Only drawback is that you can really only make 1 cup of tea per bag (an attempt at a second cup has minimal effect on the water).

This is such a wonderful tea, probably the smoothest chamomile tea I have had. The flavors aren't too overpowering and blend so well together. I would recommend to anyone that likes herbal tea!

I had sampled Might Leaf Tea at dinner at a restaurant. I was unable to find Might Leaf Tea in local grocery toy... I was pleased to find the product on line at amazon.com..... I received the tea quickly, the price was great, and the tea excellent. I would definitely use the site again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Worth it!, April 17, 2010
This review is from: Mighty Leaf Tea Chamomile Citrus, 15-Count Whole Leaf Pouches (Pack of 3) (Grocery)
I first tried this tea at a Mercedes Benz dealership and I was hooked. I have tried many different types of herbal teas in the past and Mighty Leaf tea is one of the best tasting teas (in my opinion -very flavorful). Chamomile Citrus tea is my favorite, it's a really hard brand to find at the grocery store and even specialty tea shops. I finally found a 15 bag box for 14.99. It is a bit expensive but well worth it. Amazon sells the tea for a well worth it price as well. I highly recommend this product/brand.
