Probably the best Mighty Machines yet,

My 4 year old son LOVES tractors and this installment of MM has the most tractor time yet. When we were pouring wine at Thanksgiving, he actually stated that "Wine comes from yummy grapes" and then proceeded to explain how they get harvested. I asked him how he learned that and he said "Mighty Machines". I had to sit down and watch this one then. In addition to grape harvesting and wine making, they showed tomato harvesting, how newspapers get printed, and how steel blocks are made. Worth the $7.

great DVD for boys into machinery. My son loves these shows and has learned so much from them. So have we! My Dad who has been a farmer his whole life learned about some equipment he didn't know about. filled with lots of facts and information.

Another Hit by the Mighty Machines Crew,

I got this video along with three others from the Mighty Machines series my my son's third birthday. I picked this one because my husband and his father have both worked for large newspapers as pressman and I thought it would be great for our son to see the real equipment and how the process works. He loves the entire video, and like all the others, he can sit through it without a peep. I have to limit his tv time with these because, if I let him, he'd watch them one after the other ALL DAY long. He asks, at least once a day, "Mommy, can I watch Mighty Machines (insert video name here...Winter Blast, Machines on the Job, Mega Machines)."
