I used this product to glue down some vinyl tile that would not stick, glued together loose ends of some strip insulation, and repaired an old wood toy. This glue did the job. I found it easy to use. You have to press with some force to get the glue out of the bottle, but the closure does keep the glue from sealing itself up, so the product stays fresh. The glue comes out in a thin stream, easy to work with, just be patient.

Saved my furniture,

Mighty Mendit isn't perfect but it did save my furniture. I have a cat that I battle with constantly over scratching the furniture and I finally found a product called 'Sticky Paws' that will keep her from scratching but I have several areas on my furniture that it was too late. Then, I found Mighty Mendit. I used it to 'glue' the fabric back to the frame (pulling some areas a little more tightly because they were shredded. Although the 'glue' shows in a few places it looks 100 times better than it did. I would recommend this product - it's not perfect but it does work.

Mending everything in sight..,

To be honest i was a lil surprised that Mighty Mendit really works...only because of some of products and their infomercials. it holds just like on tv...it kind of reminds me of "hot glue".Not sure about the Gemit that came free in the box, i gave that to my teenage daughter, pretty sure she would find some use for it.I love this stuff though i will keep it on hand.

It actually works!,

I've used Mighty Mendit now for a few applications. It works as promised so far. I've used it to mend a ripped pocket, ripped shorts and put a patch on a jacket. So far it's been easy to use and the bond produced actually holds. I've washed the shorts a few times and the bond has still held up.

For the first time ever I am actually pleased with a product sold on infomercials!!
The canvas on my boat required restitching in a few places in order not to leak when it rains. A professional would have charged me mega bucks so I opted to try the Mighty Mend-it. I layed the canvas on the dock, identified the weak areas, overlapped the edges, applied the Mighty Mend-It, pressed down firmly for about 20-30 seconds, wiped up any overage until I was finished with the whole canvas. I then let the whole canvas sit in the sun for 2 hours, refit it on the command bridge, got the hose out (said a couple of hail Mary's) :-) and let loose. Not a DROP of water got through the canvas!! This stuff can be a bit messy to work with if you have never used it before, the trick really is to follow the directions and use sparingly and then cleanup is a snap. Hope this Helps John Avery

I bought this item after seeing the commercial on TV, specifically to fix a pillow on my couch that had blown out a seam. I followed the directions to a t, and three days later the same seam was blowing out again, only now it is all crusty on one side from the "mighty" Mendit. I tried it again last week with a pair of pants with a splitting seam that could not be sewn...same result, even though this time I clothes-pinned after applying the product and let it set for 24 hours. As soon as I took the clothespin off it was opening up again. I cannot imagine using it on leather or denim as it claims, it barely works on light cottons! A waster of my ten bucks!

Don't bother wasting your money,

I purchased Mighty Mendit to affix patches on my daughters' girl scout vests. I have had to do all of them 3 times because they kept peeling off after just a couple days - even while just hanging in the closet, not from wear and tear. I finally broke down and paid to have them sewn on because I didn't have time to keep re-gluing them and I was unwilling to spend the money to purchase another product to do it again with. Really DO NOT BOTHER. Buy the sticky stuff they sell through Girl Scouts to put on patches. It works and is reliable. I couldn't use the GS stuff on the patches I had put the Mighty Mendit on because the junk was stuck to the fabric of the vest and it couldn't adhere to the vest. Big thumbs down.

Mighty Mendit has worked perfectly on a number of repair projects: clothing, even some shoes and canvas luggage. No sewing has been necessary, and it has saved me a lot of trouble.

got fooled by the infomercial. It probably doesn't work any better than any other glue. I used it on a throw pillow that's opened at the seams. It takes a while for the glue to really adhere and even 24 hours later or a week later if I barely pull at the seam, it'll come right back apart.
