Mike shares his feelings and insight into his world as a middle school boy living with epilepsy. I read this book to my 12 yr old son, who also has epilepsy. We never define our son as an epileptic, because his disorder is not who he is. Mike also shares this feeling. God has given us gifts, Mikes is basketball. This book shows the struggles he dealt with and encourages others to stand up against adversity. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has a child with epilepsy. My son loved the book. Thank you Mike for sharing your life with others.

As a teacher who often sees prejudices and mean words between children, I was so happy to read a book about epilepsy and the struggles, including bullying, that a child may endure. A book so well written about a youngster being bullied because of a disability is a treasure. The non-fiction parts of the book were easy to understand and extremely informative!

A MUST read for any parent who has a child with challenges and any child who is faced with feeling different. From the road to being bullied to the corners of feeling like an outsider, this book is uplifting and a feel good story for readers of all ages. I enjoyed the heartwarming parts of accomplishment and so much sympathy on the pages of adversity. But at the end, I was cheering for Mighty Mike.

Learning and reading what the main character has accomplished since his childhood, this book is a road map for any child to get the feeling of "yes I can". This book should be in every school library. I understand the author lectures at schools.
