The transmitter works great, has a long range reception. It is small, I keep it in my shirt pocket to use it around the farm. The only problem I've had is the button sticks out and is easy to accidentally press with out realizing it. I made a plastic cover, so as to make it more difficult to trigger.

I love it! No matter what the weather, I can open my gate without getting out of my car. It has a great range, can be opened from a good distance away!

Since only one came with the gate and two of us use the gate, it was always disappearing. It's nice to have two now in case the first one really got lost. It came with instructions, which were very easy to follow. The only complaint I have is that they are both too sensitive when you don't want them to be, and not sensitive enough when you DO want them to be.

I bought an extra transmitter for the house, 250 feet away from the gate. At night the gate can be closed without leaving the house. This is the kind of decadent luxury that technology was meant to provide.

Live in the rainy Northwest so hate to get out of vehicle to open the gate. These are perfect for our Mighty Mule Gate Opener. We've got one in each vehicle - 5 total - work great. Also have one in each house. There are times when we need to step outside to get reception to open the gate, but it is almost 400 feet away! Love these little transmitters.

I bought 3 of these remotes. We don't like to get out of the car & open the gate.
We're lazy! These remotes are great!

This is identical to the remote that came with my Mighty Mule FM 502. Just like the included remote, this remote has a great range (works from inside the house 50 ft away from receiving antenna).

Programming is simple with dip switches.

I don't know if it is because it is so small that the range is not very far or if something else is going on. I have another GTO transmitter that is about 3 times the size and I can close the gate from the house. This one I have to be right on top of gate for it to work.
