While this is a beautifully crafted tribute album, it also stands on its own as a showcase of the versatile and unique talents of artist Djola Branner. He is a force of nature both as a singer, but also as a dancer and actor. If you ever have an opportunity to see this man onstage, JUMP at the chance! Djola will reach into your soul and touch you in places you can not reach alone. He is truly one-of-a-kind. He is a star.

Djola's tribute is wonderful and enlightning. Some of the songs are done similar and some have a totally different take on them. Sylvester was truly one of a kind. He is truly an inspiration to us all. I only wish that I would have gotten to see him live or meet him. I love all the songs Djola has put his touch on. The last song which was written by Djola sums it up. It's a song that was written for Sylvester called YOU WILL BE THE ONE. I know that somewhere in the heavens he is smiling and saying thank you as I am.......
